About
Ever since I got my first Game Boy I have been a video game enthusiast. I have spent countless hours playing video games, but once I learned to program I've spent even more hours making them. All of my games have been written in pure Python, but it wasn't until Rival Bots (or at the time simply known as robots) that I decided to actually release a game. I chose to develop Rival Bots using Unity in order to speed up production and easily release the game on multiple platforms.
My friends and I have always loved playing competitive games together, but a lot of our favorite games aren't AAA games released by big companies. They are games like Hard Lander, Duck Game, and Hidden in Plain Sight which can all be found on the OUYA. These games were simple in both graphics and game-play, yet were the source of hours of fun and laughter not experienced by any other game. Playing these games is really what inspired me to release Rival Bots which embodies the concept of local, fun, competitive multiplayer.
